Cost is rebuilt from the hours and rates in your workbook, so every figure traces back to it. Overtime uses the premium you set above, since the sheet records OT as a share of hours but not what it costs. Everything else comes straight from the workbook. Levers apply to whatever facilities your filters have selected. A facility with no agency hours in the month has no agency rate of its own, so hours sent to agency there are priced at the portfolio rate. Where your sheet carries agency hours by discipline, each shift is priced at that discipline’s own agency ACPH against its own in-house ACPH, and the in-house figure is taken to be loaded — benefits already inside it, the same basis that makes your variance columns comparable. In-house hours in a discipline are read as its HPPD times census, less its agency hours.
The copy holds only the facilities you tick — the other rows are not hidden in it, they are absent from it, so there is nothing to unhide. It is a snapshot of the months loaded right now: it cannot see your workbook, so it does not move when your data does, and once sent it cannot be recalled from here — like any file you email, taking it back means deleting it where it lives. Keeping copies in a shared OneDrive folder and overwriting them there after each refresh gives colleagues one link that is always current, and removing someone is deleting their file from the folder. Facilities, months and dollar figures are real limits: what you leave out is not in the file at all. Hiding the what-if and findings tools is about focus rather than access — the data behind them is still in the copy, so use the dollar and month limits for anything that genuinely must not travel. A copy allowed to pass one on can only ever narrow what it holds, and the copies it makes cannot pass on anything further.
